This is a general study in painting and drawing for older children and adults that includes composition and techniques in a variety of mediums. All skill levels are welcome. Classes are designed to introduce new students to the skills required to accurately render what they see and for the more advanced artist to gain some visual and creative practice in drawing and painting that will enhance any artistic endeavors.
The class objective is to provide the "tools" necessary to draw and paint with confidence and to develop within the student the ability to see the world the way artists' see. From there, students are encouraged to express their own individual creativity.
Supplies provided for children, teens and adults will use their own supplies for continuity of work in class and at home.

Let’s Explore: GREEN Color Theory Workshop with Cate Robbins
We are going to study the color green and how to manipulate the paint to better represent greens that we see in nature. This will include highlights and shadows.

Cost: $30 plus $10 Supply Fee What to Bring: Your paints and brushes Color theory applies to all mediums but for this class we will use oil and/or acrylic. You will not go home with a finished painting but you will go home with increased knowledge to incorporate into your future artwork.
