Come Clay with me !
Have you always wanted to try pottery but not ready to take full length classes yet, or you just want to have fun on a clay date possibly with friends and family, or you just want to have a fun social event on a saturday evening or just because...need to do self-care.... then come clay with us!
Age: Our classes are designed for adults. Teens ages 13-17 may join if there is an adult with them taking the same class.
Location: The Pottery Barn at McKinney Art House
Price: $75/per person
When: Saturdays 4.30pm -6.30pm
Description: Our one-time classes let you explore the artistic fun of creating pottery through throwing and/or handbuilding. This class includes Introduction, instruction, wheel throwing, hand building and clean up at the end. Each of you will be making two clay vessels, one vessel will be made on the wheel called “throwing” and the other is “hand built” using various techniques.
We walk you through the steps as you create 2 pieces . At the end of class, from an option of colors select your glaze options, and we finish and fire your pieces in our kilns. Once your pieces are ready for pickup, we'll notify you by email - The pieces will take 4-6 weeks to dry, be fired to bisque then glazed and fired once gain for a final time.

Do I bring anything : Just your funself....All the tools and equipment along with your clay will be provided: We have aprons but clay is messy so please wear comfortable clothes if you don't mind getting dirty and extra towel wouldn't hurt.

Unpredictability with firing: We like all participants to know that when working with clay there is a chance a pot may face challenges during firing that is not in our control. We try our best to make it right for you on the off chance this should this happen to your piece.
Cancellation Policy: Once registered the slot/s gets taken and is not cancellable or changeable. If there is a running waitlist and your slot/s can be booked by waitlisted individual/s, we can move to different date or cancel the booking and refund after withholding 3% credit card processing fee .
No Show: If you miss your scheduled session, you are considered a no-show and we cannot offer you another date or time and there is no refund provided.
