Tim Bednar

Tim Bednar is a retired firefighter and entrepreneur. After serving over 11 years as a professional firefighter in Minnesota and operating a family carwash business in Texas, he turned his attention to his love of art.

Mr. Bednar started off in functional stoneware pottery as an apprentice with Jim Young, a potter and teacher, at thirteen. He has also worked as a commercial artist and designer and created art in the fields of painting and drawing, ceramics and pottery, stained glass and residential building design and construction.

Mr. Bednar has been active in art associations and Public Art Boards. Tim currently enjoys teaching adult evening classes at the Art House on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
