July 5-8 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Edible glass blowing and other Sweet Creations (ages 8-16)

Did you know that you can make glass??!!!! Thats right, the technical definition of glass is : " any of various amorphous materials formed from a melt by cooling to rigidity without crystallization: "usually we think of glass made with silica but you can also make glass from sugar! and are you ready for this.... you can BLOW it just like traditionalglass!!!!! You can also sculpt it, shape it, cut it, pull it, twist it, paint it and of course eat it.

Like most people I have always been fascinated by the art of glass blowing and so I finally put together a little "hot shop" Here at the art house. We will learn about the traditional art of amezaiku and candy glass blowing and other fun stuff like chocolate bombs and candy sushi!
