About the Camp
Explore culture through art — with respect, curiosity, and creativity
Around the World Art Camp invites young artists on a creative and cultural journey into art traditions from around the globe. Campers will learn how artists use line, pattern, color, and meaning in different cultural contexts — and how to approach each with respectful appreciation, not imitation.
This camp encourages curiosity, cultural awareness, and artistic expression. Students will create original art inspired by global artistic ideas while learning about the cultural significance behind each style.
Campers will explore:
✨ Aboriginal dot painting – understanding pattern, rhythm, and meaning in visual storytelling
✨ Japanese koi watercolor – graceful line work and color blending inspired by traditional motifs
