On their first two days, students will throw a mug and bowl on the pottery wheel and learn how to make mugs and bowls using various other methods (i.e, using slabs, pinching, and coiling). On the third day students will explore different decorating techniques, (including carving, sgraffito, and painting with underglazes). For the fourth day
students will glaze their pots and ready them to be fired in the Art House kilns. Parents are welcome to join this class with their student for the same fee. Students’ work will be ready for pickup the Saturday after camp.

Did you ever wish you had your own fairy garden? In this camp you will make your own fairy house by throwing on the pottery wheel and working with slabs of clay. You will also make a clay bird feeder by hand, that can hang in your garden. Kids will really get to use their imaginations as they sculpt their own fairies, gnomes, or other enchanted garden animals. Parents are welcome to join with their child for the same fee. Students’ work will be ready for pickup the Saturday after camp.
