Hi all you artists ready for summer fun! We have summer camps for the follow dates...NOTE: some dates have more than one class listed so be sure to scroll down. Select the one you want, register and get ready for fun at the Art House.
June 9 - 13Cool down with Watercolor - class limited to 8 students Watercolor techniques and pen and ink drawings will be explored. Be

Summer Sizzle Jewelry - class limited to 8 students Learn to construct necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pins and barrettes
out of fine and found materials. Make to keep and share with old and new

June 16 - 20The Art of Multiples - class limited to 8 students A hands on guide to making and printing images. Carving, stenciling,

Camp Creativity - class limited to 10 students...SORRY, IT'S FULL Paint on location in downtown historic McKinney! Young artists will
explore a variety of settings as we paint what we see in our outdoor
environment. This camp will focus on using drawing skills, different paint
techniques and confidence in your own unique style! Be sure to wear your
'messy' clothes. Class limit of 10 artists insures a fun, focused group with

Preschool Fun - class limited to 4 students per session We will work on fine motor skills, manipulation of materials and FUN! Time:

Clay Camp - class limited to 10 students...SORRY, IT'S FULL Get your hands dirty as we explore the world of clay sculpture! Young
potters will create hand built clay sculptures using different types of clay
and glazes. Each day will include clay techniques to build a lifelong love
of pottery. Students will be working indoors and outdoors at the historic
Art House in downtown McKinney. Class limit of 10 artists insures a focused,

June 23 - 26 Art Adventure - class limited to 10 students All camps offer exciting art projects with quality results! Students
can expect to create 6-8 pieces of 2D & 3D art. Projects include drawing,
painting, mixed media, clay, paper mache, beadwork and more. Children will
learn new techniques and expand their creativity while making beautiful
works of art. Children will feel comfortable in a non-competitive
environment while receiving one-on-one guidance to insure success. Registration: 1) Call or email

Kids Pottery Class - class limited to 6 students...SORRY, IT'S FULL Join us this summer for a week of messy and creative fun with clay. We will be learning to hand-build, slab roll, sculpt and throw pottery on the wheel. Please be sure to wear clothes that can get really messy! Time:

July 7 - 17 Summer Art FUNdamentals! - class size limited During 8 fast-paced sessions, this carefully crafted curriculum takes a student through the basic elements of color and composition, 2-D and 3-D, through a variety of media, including paint (tempera and acrylic on canvas), paper collage (inspired by Matisse), clay, plaster masks, and block printing. Masterpieces of art are taught with action games that stimulate memory response. Time:
