Enjoy the best of both worlds, traditional camp activities (games, lanyards, movies and walking field trips) along with numerous art and craft projects. The projects are varied and challenging and include all aspects of painting, creating, building, crafting and baking – see below for a complete list*.
Each day we will walk with our sketch books to nearby historic Downtown Square with our sack lunches and take in local art tours, ice cream breaks, scavenger hunts and visits to local bakeries for cookie and cake decorating. Last year we even visited Chestnut Square for an old fashioned day of crafts from the turn of the century! We are limiting this camp to 20 children with a $50 deposit to hold your space. If you need an early drop off or late pick up, we may accommodate you for nominal fee.
For registration or more information, please contact Magda Dia, 214.937.9153 or magdadiausa@gmail.com
*Complete list of projects: mosaic garden stepping stones, mask making, painting ceramics at Walls of Clay, pottery (hand building), jewelry making, painting on canvas with acrylic and water color, decoupage, tie dye, bread baking and more. We will accomplish 2 projects a day in addition to daily sketching, lanyards, games and movies. An afternoon snack is provided but children are required to bring a sack lunch.
